The Seven Deadly Sins
Lewis describes one couple as so trouser, slended, giggly and falsetto that he couldn't really be sure of the sex of either of them. The central point is they are choosing each other rather than a trip on the bus. In the hierarchy of goods, they are regarding each other as more important than getting on this bus. If we were looking at it in the framework of the Seven Deadly Sins, this one is probably last.
