I wonder if it's too late to build a Twitch-like service. Like you get the rights to stream certain games and I would love to be able to log on to Netflix and watch my favorite Twitch streams. So because I don't think I can do that on Amazon Prime at all, I have to go onto my computer and not the TV. It's amazing when you look at the YouTube stats of how many viewers are watching people playing games. And maybe there's a kind of content that's not quite the standard format, but that Netflix could start picking off from places like YouTube.
Mitch Lowe has been a significant disruptor of Hollywood's distribution models over the past two decades, promoting all-you-can-eat subscription models on personal devices and at the box office. Netflix famously redefined consumer video distribution while Movie Pass infamously imploded in 2019.
