There are robots in athletic training to day. We use them to capture camera footage so that plays can be reviewed. Josh segel, an assistant professor of computer science and engineering at michigan state university has a full motion racing rig in his basement. He says i've got four actuators on it that pick it up and move it around like a car's wheels actually move the suspension around.
