The Hero's Journey Paradigm
In the fairy tales, there's a movement that always happens. The hero has to leave the city has to go into the forest and she's in the middle of the forest. If you do it incorrectly, then your horse will be eaten. You might lose your life. Your brother might be turned into a goat. And interestingly, it's not entirely clear immediately why these things happen. But if you understand the paradigm of entering the wild as a kind of awakening to the deeper reality of the created world around us...you're able to receive help from the wild. Not if you come barging in, which is something that happens a lot for the heroes.
