The Importance of Associative State in Speech
The brain and the body are not separate, they're working in a very smart way on associative states. For instance, when you think of dancing, you start to activate the part of your brain that would make you dance regardless of the way you're going to dance. So if you start to associate that with a specific activity such as a presentation, that's going to give you first of the looseness or the rhythm and the relaxation that you need in your speech. It feels less physical, it feels like it's almost non-physical, trust me, it absolutely is physical.
