I was just surprised by how pertinent the thoughts of a 13th century man were to my 21st century life. So specifically the way that he loved the Lord very much resonated with me. And I recognized in him certain desires of my own life that had never really made sense to me or had never really come together in a coherent fashion. His, his witness moved me, inspired me and so it led me to inquire to the order.
