The Jersey Devil

Early descriptions made people believe that the creature was actually a dragon. It's never been known to attack humans, but it's a preditor of local animals and live stock. Some say it can also breathe fire and use its breath to poison natural water sources. When it's not out hunting, many leave a nest somewhere in the pine barrens of new jersey.
