The Distinction Between the Father and the Son

In the 16th and 17th chapter of John in general, clearly speak of the three persons of the Godhead. If you want to read these passages 16 and 17 on your own, you'll find over and over again the distinction between the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Let's look at John 7 and verse 39 for the distinction from the Holy Spirit. The Spirit was someone they would receive in the future after Jesus had departed from them and been glorified.
