Don't Do Journals in Law School
Law students are encouraged to publish in law journals, but don't do it if you want a career. "I promise o, no money where my mouth is," says one ex-law student who quit journal after the first year. The idea of law as this sort of abstract and detached and philosophical thing that's not connected with material realities like people affected by the laws.
