The advent of artificial journal intelligence and the global brain provides new opportunities for realizing humanity's long quest for a more utopian existence. One possibility is a more successful implementation of the state socialist vision of a centrally managed economy, possibly controlled by an AGI nanny. Do you think this will push the economy toward a more thorough and efficient economic order, which will in turn cause AGI and other advanced technologies to become more pervasive and advanced? I believe it's likely to fail because pyramids of power are inherently delusional and that will apply to any pyramid of power that is run by AI as well.
