The Health Effects of Tritium on the Environment
Microorganisms are the first port of call for water-based tritium. They absorb all this stuff and then as you go up the food chain they bioaccumulate. There has been no study on human beings in that kind of situation. The investigations of tritium impacts on humans have been for nuclear workers receiving massive doses either on the skin or at site.
