Is There a Fungal Pandemic?
Most fungal infections don't pass from person to person, so a pandemic will take a slightly different form. The most worrying I would say for us at this point is something called Candida oris. This is a yeast in the Candida species that was only discovered in 2009. It's incredibly drug resistant and it could come to become a major healthcare problem.
