I think there's two different factors at play. I have a friend, a close friend of mine, who works as a p e teacher in one of the probably smallest schools in iowa. Two of the biggest things that he when we talk and catch up and see how work's going is the gender stuff. The kids even this, you would think it would be different in a small, rural iowa school, but it's not. Along with being overworked, at least in the hospital system, that systems that i'm aware of here in iowa, the staff largelys is overworked because there is a staffing issue.
