Is There a New Shift in Conservation Philosophy?
There are many ways that by which, for instance, enhancing the potential of biodiversity based industry within the country itself. There could be partnerships with indigenous and local communities to help India achieve the targets. The convention on biological diversity or even say for that matter, the real declaration, I think had a very strong anthropocentric lens. It's about when you access it, when you use it, when should you protect it? So the human beings are a very strong actor in this entire process.
