Capitalism and the Double Binding of Production and Consumption

I'm hoping we can talk about specifically this concept of machinic surplus value, because it's one that i struggle with. The other thing that they continually say about capital is there is like a d coupling or disarticulation of production om even consumption. Value falls away in the sort of licorgiastic self production of surplusor surplus and exchange value for itself. There's not this sort of ceaseless, accumulative drive or expansion for its own sake,. which seems like absolutely characteristic of capitalism.
