How to Use Lock Time Out to Cancel Transactions
There's a setting where we can cancel things that we can set a time out walk time out or statement time. So in this case, if you statement time out, it will be applied both to DDL and DML including selects. A finer grade, how to say fine grained, special time out fine grained setting, which will be applied only to lock acquisition, not to call statement duration. And of course, I prefer using it.
