The Pros and Cons of Prop Trading
I started to do a lot of scalping when I went into pop trading. And for me, scalping is not what I do. I tend to focus on more of a longer term perspective in today. Not to say you can't scalp anymore, it's just not my choice. There's a lot of a mix up right now with the guys that I work with. People are trying to use scalper risk, scalper execution strategy, but try to hold the trades longer. It's not going to work. That was when I got introduced to profiles, order flow, read in the DOM. A lot of traders didn't even have charts. They just had the trading ladders
