How to Solve the Non Identity Problem
The problem arises when we believe that one or two outcome would be worse, even though different people would exist. I appeal to the principle if the same number of people would exist in either outcome, it would be worse if the people who exist are worse off. We can claim that we would make things go very much worse if we ended human history. That would be very much less good for verymn future people. And i would be for mary and kate.
