Machine Learning - What Is a Test Set?

A machine learning system is essentially a system that learns patterns from data. The way you are developing the is you are showing it, essentially a collection of images with no oput in your systems. And so part of the image ant bench mark is both providing the training set that all of the systems are learning from and valuing on new unseen images.
