Turnout seems to be even lower than it was nationally. Would that turn out still be solo, come a general election? Are those people that aren't going to risk Labour getting into number 10 but are happy for somebody else to run the council? Maybe. I think the other thing to remember is that in 2019 lots of people went independent as well. That was the year that we saw the big rise in the number of independent councillors and they don't seem to be having such a good time of it this time round.
