If the consumer feels certain that your product is good and feels uncertain about your competitors, he will buy yours. If this theory is right, sales will swing to the marketer who does the best job of creating confidence that his product is positively good. Most campaigns are too complicated. They reflect a long list of objectives and try to reconcile the divergent views of too many executives. This is also why I prefer founder-led companies. Many commercials and many advertisements look like the minutes of a committee. committees can criticize, but they cannot create.
