How to Counsel Your Wife to Leave Pastoring
I think I would not see it as the criteria to leave pastoring at this point. It's clearly touching deep issues within him for his own discipleship and formation in Jesus. So there's two things I would definitely recommend doing some work with a therapist around some family of origin issues. And then secondly, it's an invitation also to deepen his own relationship of loving union with Jesus and to die to the world. Again, redefining success as he's already on that journey.
