David doych, in an interview with eli terr said, i think we know for sure the immune system create knowledge. We could understand both men as having legitimate definitions of knowledge that even have a relationship between them. There really is something special about open ended knowledge creation, because it really does produce novelty in a way narrow knowledge creation can't. The immune system creates anti bodies for a disease that has never been known before in the history of the world. That's why it uses a variation selection process to try to come up with anti bodies. Andi it keeps the ones that are actually working, it throws away the variants that don't work. I its forward variation selection process.
