Suffering Is Good for You, It Gives You Character

If suffering is a character giving phenomenon, it must be a world that's absolutely filled with character. But apparently we don't believe in that concept quite that much. The vedic world view comes straight out and says, it's not actually part of the human repertoire. So there are holes in our logic, and we have a lot of bewilderment around this subject."
