Is the Higgs Field Going to Flip to Zero Energy?
The answer to the question of whether the universe would be different if the Higgs field were zero is a big fat yes. It would make them the fundamental particles move at the speed of light, which would be totally trippy. They might be like bigger and sluffier than the protons we know today. I wonder if you could even catch quarks to make protons, because they're moving around at thespeed of light.
