The Toxicity of Social Justice Terminology
The use of social justice terminology has a chilling effect on debate, he says. Is it necessary for us to use social justice terminology in order to get at the issues that we're trying to get at? I don't think it is. There are alternatives and we need to use those alternatives. The second one is toxicity. It's toxic when you see some of the groups that are using this terminology who are identified with this terminology. It’s toxic. Thirdly, necessity. We have to move away from the definition of social justice that everybody already knows.
