The Cognitive Process of Learning
Albert Bandura's cognitive social learning theory features observational learning. This is the process by which children will watch the actions of others and copy from them. Children are particularly vulnerable to learning inappropriate behavior in the first years of life when they are much more reliant on using observational learning. But as their brain develops so do their cognitive abilities, allowing older children to then think about their actions in much more detail.
