How Do We Know That God Is Trustworthy?
In psalm chapter 62, verse seven and eight, the psalmist talks about a god who's trustworthy. Trust in him at all times, not some of the time, not when you feel like it,. Not just with your eternity, not just with part of the thing. Why? Because god is our refuge. The first reason is this, we know that god is trustworthy because god has been faithful before. If he's done it before, he can do it again. It's why the israelite people had this practice. Any time god would do something significant, they would pile up stones to honour him.
