The Euro Zone Economy's Inflation Rate Is Expected to Drop Off
We're expecting pretty big falls in all of the big four major Euro zone economies. The labor market is tighter, pay is rising much faster and it means that the core inflation rate is going to stay about a percentage point higher than it is in the Euro zone through the end of the year. Why is that the labor market so much tighter in the UK? It's actually hard to judge, but I think the main reason is just that the starting point for the UK economy was better going into all this.
