The First Fully Democratic National Elections

Parkistan was created by the british in 19 forty seven as an independent nation for india's moslems. Bengalis were really not represented where they could exercise any influence. The pagistan military government, under president yahya khan, agreed to call the country's first fully democratic national elections in december 19 70. Pakistan had a carismatic leader, shaik mudib rohman. His awami league party united for a demand for bengali selferme the tetat.
