Is That the Core of Good Economic Modelling?

i took my role as a producer of knowledge so seriously that for 20 years, i read less than one book a year. We've both been heavily influenced by the great chicago economists like garry becker and by the many brilliant thinkers at harvard and mit. There's only one economist whose picture i have looking at me in my office, and that is garry. And i very much see my job as up dating what garry taught me 30, 33 years ago.
