The Four Types of Borderline Personality Disorder
There are a lot of theories on borderline personality disorder. Hallquest found four subtypes and he found that they differed in terms of anger, aggressiveness and antisocial behaviorand mistrustfulness. Critchfield and his team did a different kind of analysis called a Q-factor analysis and they found three subtypes. Those with cluster A traits and cluster B traits and then cluster C traits. These also made me feel really uncomfortable. The waif, which is helpless. The hermit, which is fearful, avoidant. The queen controlling and the witch sadistic.
