But I still think there's a way that both inner speech and a sense of temporality are potentially disrupted here, right? And there's a hyper-reflexivity that is taking you out of the flow of time. Yes, and the only lingering question there would be, to what extent are we committed to the notion that what is happening in the head is a kind of speech when we are going through everyday experience? As opposed to speech being a model that we project retroactively when we thematize our inner life.
