The Effects of Particulate Contamination on Climate
We're a long time on the order of tens of thousands of years, probably, from ever triggering another ice age. We're melting glaciers and snow fields and reducing the reflectance of the planet. Greenhouse gases are always going to warm the climate. Particulates are good in that they can cool, they can offset some of that warming but they're not as powerful as the greenhouse gases.
