Brittany has long been known for having a very strong culture, with its own music, a local flag and a century's old language. Fermalis enrolling her daughter in a bruton school didn't feel any different than signing her up for music or swim classes. It was a small experiment to see if her daughter picked up the language. Malise didn't know it yet, but the decision would open her eyes to her regent's culture and help her find the calling she'd been missing.
