Just before finals week in 1996, a 19-year-old freshman went missing after being escorted home from a party by two over peers. She was last seen about a stone's throw away from her dorm, roughly 40 yards. Her case sent shockwaves through Cal Poly, rattling everyone who lived in the quaint town of San Luis ObIspo.
