The Price of Natural Gas in the UK Is a Severe Cost
Gas prices in the UK are actually a managed price. In effect all units have now been able to raise their prices which they couldn't before. The people who are particularly affected by this are people on low incomes. And because of that, I mean, pensioners are quite a considerable proportion of our economy. So we might well find that if they start cutting back on disposable spending because they're having to spend more on,. on heating and, and lighting and whatever you, that we will suffer demand reduction and potentially a falling GDP.
