Eric Liu: The struggles real, it hasn't gone away. In fact, it's magnified because of the pandemic and now we're two, three years out. There were companies that had built up the muscle memory. So when the pandemic hit, it really didn't change all that much. People work asynchronously by default. We don't want you to stay home. With no information, I would have been on a company like Cisco succeeding versus other companies that are not. And so there certainly are examples of effective remote work arrangements but I'll be the first person to admit that it is an experiment.

This week I was excited to welcome Phil Simon back to the show to discuss his new book, The Nine: The Tectonic Forces Reshaping the Workplace. Phil is the world's leading independent expert on workplace collaboration and technology. He is the award-winning author of 14 books, and helps organizations communicate, collaborate, and use technology better.
