The human genome was sequenced wel about 20 years ago, or something like that now. It took a while for the cohorts to be big enough where you could discover genetic variation that drove a sig ficant amount of risk. Is really only until very recently now, with these really large cohorts, like the u k Bio bank, hopefully to all of us cohort in the united states. For some one like me, i'm convinced that we should be using it now. The connection is strong enough, in my opinion, that people want to know about their genetic risk. They should be able to get that information, and they should be can act upon it.
