Uninvolved parents demand almost nothing, but they give nothing in return. They expect their kids to raise themselves and don't set boundaries or consequences. And the most linked to narcissistic parenting are uninvolved parents who spend a lot of time away from home. It basically kind of verges on the territory of neglect. Not having someone who cares about us can create a really unloving environment.
