We all came out of Africa, and so that's kind of our deep cultural roots. So the question you want to ask is, what is it about that landscape? Where are the properties of that landscape? And mystery has to do with this idea that there's something about the landscape that makes you want to explore it. The people who were predisposed to find that environment beautiful more likely to survive than someone who found a very different kind of environment beautiful.
