What Is a Mission Diocese?

A mission diocese is a diocese that does not support itself vocationally yet. The faith has been there for like, 500 years and we've never supported ourselves vocationally. It's always been jeuits, franciscans, people like me from california. Right now, we have a lot of african, indian priests that are that are coming out as missionaries. So i think ti is a very interesting thing to talk about. Like this is a very particular way of living out one's priesthood.
