How Much Is This Attributable to Climate Change?
The western united states is something like two degrees fahrenheit warmer than it would be without human cause climate change. Warm temperatures promote faster as long as there's moisture to evaporate. The forests and the mountains of the western united states have been getting gradually drier because of warmer temperatures. And ah, it has been a bad luck drought. But the bad luck drought, if not, if human cause, climate change hadn't beencor hadn't been coinciding with it,. This is an event that's as bad as anything in the last millennium.
