Tax Rates Are the Highest in the World
Frozen tax allowances mean by 2027, we're going to be paying the equivalent of an extra four-pence on basic rates. 3.2 million people are going to start paying tax for the first time and 2.1 million people will go into higher tax rates. This at a time when people have been feeling the squeeze for a very long time,. and also when the government does not have a reputation for looking out for the tax interests or of the lower-earner.
