i know how the indians feel about h white speaking for them. And i kind of felt thatehe did it right. He did it carefully and without coopting ah. It's about young people, so it can be a young adult book or an adult book. The mohavi are people very, very different from the white americans of to day. Just thisa the sense of you are in touch with something really different and completely human and extremely understandable emotionally.
