Digital Media and the Art of Criticism
The biggest thing that my digital media background helped with was getting that extra layer for critiques. There are very few places where you can put something that you've created in front of a person and have them give you an honest feedback on what's working for them or what you're conveying. To me the most valuable thing that I learned was the art of critique and the reception of critique because that was also how I contributed to the community.
