"I was not a popular kid. I sort of inherited on being unpopular because I had an older sister who was unpopular," he says. "My friends and I were the kids who were playing magic, the gathering with those cards in the lunch room." He admits that at 14 years old it would have been hard for him to see someone like himself as unattainable.
