Is There a Canonical Approach to Scripture and Doctrine?
There's this common claim that we have to let, like, the christian tradition set the interpreter framework for how we approach scripture and doctrine. There are a number of theologians across the spectrum that take different views of the relative authority of en. And some examples where people even say explicitly that we should adopt a platonic or recitelian metaphysical framework,. which has all kinds of implications for the doctrine of god and other areas of systematic theology. But not everybody likes that. So so let's look at this alternative.
