The Effect of Ethanol on Lactate Production

The graph shows the effect of ethanol with or without glucose or fructose in males aged 18 to 35. Even though they're diabetic, which itself predisposes to increased lactate production, their lactate does not retire than 2.1 millimals per liter. The sugar is prevented from rising primarily in the 12 to 20 hours after its consumption began. And so, this is despite the fact that they're consuming much more than I was.
