When you look at things solely in terms of the individual or any of these traditional, rigid political categories, you can miss out on so many other perspectives. Delouse and guaderie ask us to consider the world instead, through the lens of what they call machines. They're trying to get away from thinking about politics through this conventional liberal tradition that we've been looking at it through for hundreds of years.
